Cookies
This page describes the information birdofparadise.pt stores on your device. The rule is Law 41/2004: only what is strictly necessary may be used without prior consent. Everything else needs a yes before it is switched on. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
What is necessary
- bop_cart, bop_coupon and bop_wishlist, in the browser's local storage. They hold the cart, a promotion code and the wishlist. They stay until you clear them and do not leave the device until you check out.
- bop_cookie_ok, in local storage. It remembers that you closed this notice and stays until you clear it.
- bop_session, an httpOnly session cookie. It keeps you signed in and is removed when you close the browser.
- bop_gestao, an httpOnly session cookie. It is used only in the shop management area, for the staff session.
These items are strictly necessary. The notice at the bottom of the page informs you. It does not ask for consent, because advertising and analytics are not active.
What we do not use by default
We do not load advertising, social-media or analytics cookies when you open the site. If we enable analytics, the notice will ask for consent before they are switched on, and this page will be updated.
If anti-abuse verification is switched on, Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies and receive the IP address at checkout, on the newsletter, on registration and, after failed attempts, on login. It is off by default. We do not use it for advertising. See the privacy policy.
How to refuse
You can clear local storage and block cookies in the browser settings. The cart, the account and, if anti-abuse verification is on, checkout, the newsletter and login may stop working. The essential items cannot be switched off without losing those functions.
